Comparison Study of Elastic, Physical and Structural Properties for Strontium Oxide and Manganese Oxide in Borotellurite Glasses for High Strength Glass Application

In this research, the study of two dopants, strontium oxide and manganese were thoroughly investigated based on elastic properties for purpose high strength glass application. The melt quenching technique method was used to synthesize series borotellurite systems doped with strontium. Elastic measurement, X-ray diffraction (XRD) Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) characterize prepared samples. increment molar volume confirmed theory that is inversely proportional density parameters. A broad hump observed during XRD as samples shows pure amorphous nature. FTIR, vibrations functional group tellurite network recorded such TeO4 trigonal bipyramids TeO3 pyramids, by addition both dopants. On other hand, ultrasonic velocity determine moduli bulk modulus, shear longitudinal Young’s Modulus, microhardness Poisson’s ratio which showed decreasing increasing trends increased concentration MnO2 SrO respectively. It also inferred has better than oxide.
